About

Five years ago I made a longterm dream come true by starting a small fiber farm. Our family moved to an acre of land in Bluffdale, Utah and we have loved every minute of our yarn-growing adventure ever since.

I am an art teacher, crafter, weaver, spinner, and animal lover. I have long been fascinated by textures, fabrics, textiles, materials, and anything I can get my hands on. For years I have been captivated by the idea of tracing a material all the way back to its source, and I envisioned being a part of every step in the process. Now this dream is my reality, and I have fallen in love with taking care of our animals, shearing, spinning, dyeing, and weaving their fleece, and turning it into something beautiful.

At Bergstrom Farms, our sweet animals are like family to us. We have four alpacas (Diego, Patch, Harrison, and Archie), five Icelandic sheep (Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, Thelma, and Louise), three Angora goats (Winston, Franklin, and Theo), ten chickens, and two beehives. The beautiful fleece our alpacas, sheep, and goats provide is secondary to the companionship and joy they have brought to us. All of our products are cruelty-free, sustainable, and made with love.

At the farm, we welcome farm visits from April - October by appointment. $5 per person and children under age 4 are free. I also teach a variety of fiber-related classes at the farm. Head to our classes page for more information.

Thank you for supporting our small business!
